Dispersed Camping Near Arches National Park

Packed with scenic views, a variety of hikes, and a stellar rock formations, Arches National Park truly has something for everyone. Located a few miles outside of Moab, Utah, Arches NP is a big time draw for nature lovers. The park is set up with a scenic drive format where a single road takes you to all the features of the park. Pull off at any of the incredible stops and have a hike, photo shoot or camp. It's an incredibly convenient system and allows nature goers of all skill levels to enjoy the park to the fullest. Grabbing a campsite inside Arches, however, is not as convenient. As you can imagine, it's a very popular park, and spots fill quickly!

Fret not! There are some great campsites just outside of Arches NP. Take 191 North as you exit Arches (or Moab). About 8 miles down the road, you'll see a sign for Willow Springs. Still heading North, take a right onto this road. You've entered a dispersed camping area and can now find your favorite spot to camp! There are some really awesome rock features a bit down the road.

If Willow Springs is full, you can also check out the next road (to the North) called Dalton Wells. This is a similar area and has some great campsites along the road as well!

You can catch some great sunsets out here. Arrive early and enjoy the show!
